Spirit Quartz is a unique member of the Quartz family because it contains a community within the stone. Hundreds of tiny crystal termination points are encrusted on the center, which is a bigger, candle-shaped crystal with a faceted termination point. It's also known as Cactus Quartz or Porcupine Quartz, and it's exclusively found in the Magaliesberg Mountains of South Africa, where it first appeared in 2001. Amethyst makes up the majority of Spirit Quartz, however, Citrine, Smokey Quartz, and White Quartz are also mined.
